Our modern vessel is MCA Compliant, fully Licensed and Insured and we cater for up to 11 passengers.
- Tea and coffee supplied if required.
- On-board music system to play your choice of music if required.
- Toilet facilities on-board.
Should your group be more than the 11, we can always obtain a second boat, and will position the two craft as close as the weather conditions and passenger safety permit.
All other vessel’s used are MCA Compliant with Qualified Crews.
We are happy to supply a Certificate if required stating the deceased’s name, date and exact position of the scattering
Absentee Scatterings
Should the family be unable to attend the scattering personally, then we offer an absentee scattering, where-by we undertake to make a special trip to scatter the deceased ashes in a designated spot, notifying you as to the date and time that the scattering will take place, a few words, chosen and supplied by the family will be read out, and any wishes of the deceased will be adhered to if practical to do so.
Photographic evidence will be emailed along with a signed certificate stating the Deceased name, and the position and date of the scattering – please enquire regarding this particular service.
Bio-degradable Urns
It is now possible to use special bio-degradable urns, one of the most widely used is the Geos Urn, whereby the urn and ashes are placed in the sea, the urn is designed to sink, and slowly release the ashes as the urn biodegrades, allowing the true nature of tide and sea to scatter the ashes slowly. Should you have diffculty obtaining these urns from your local Undertaker, please contact us and we can put you in touch with the suppliers.
